We -and by “we” I mean hate filled conservative types- joked about the fact that as soon as OBAMACARE was signed into law the offices of doctors and hospitals would be inundated with people looking for their *free care*. Most Obama supporters we talked to didn’t care about the details of the bill and took any criticism that we made as pure partisan lies. Instead, resting on the lofty rhetoric of Barack Obama who proclaimed they had brought “heath care to all” while conveniently bushing aside the fine print.

Well it actually happened. By now, unless you have been living under a rock, everyone has heard that on March 21, 2010 (or as Mark Steyn wrote, Happy Dependence Day!) the House of Representatives moved this country that much closer to socialism passed ObamaCare, a monumental healthcare bill, with a vote of 219 – 212 (no Republicans voted in favor of it). With shady backroom meetings, long time opponents suddenly switching to ‘yes’ (Stupak – hope that Executive Order works out well for you), and the president canceling a trip abroad, the weekend was definitely full of news, although none more heartbreaking than hearing that the bill had truly passed. Obviously, as conservatives and people who love this country because of its founding principles and what it stands (or perhaps stood is the better word) for, we are very much against the passage of this bill. Try to tell a liberal you’re against the bill, and more often than not, before facts and logic can even be used to make a point (heck, who are we kidding, even after the clear truth and rational arguments are presented) this is what you hear (perhaps these comments sound familiar to you as well):
