Mrs. Palin wrote a Facebook post demanding the resignation of White House Chief of Staff Rham Emanuel. Why you ask? Rham called a group of liberal activists attending a weekly strategy session “F-ing retarded”. Apparently, the liberal activists where plotting a strategy to oust Blue dog Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections.
Overall, I was a fan of George W Bush and his policies. However, one area where I believe he set back the cause of conservatism was in the area of government handouts and specifically entitlements intended to help those less fortunate. The phrase “compassionate conservatism” is such a perversion of conservative values and vision, that I believe we will suffer its effects for years to come.
I read the following Newsweek article http://www.newsweek.com/id/214989 and was wondering if you thought being a racist was a choice? I don’t see how. Why would someone choose a life of scorn and ridicule? How did you come to accept it? How did you come out? Any help would be appreciated…I’m scared.
